Science, Math & Business Program

The Science, Math & Business program is designed to encourage women to enter all fields of study, particularly ones in which women have been underrepresented in the past. Through community partnerships, with local universities and labs, scholars are given the opportunity to learn from local business leaders and professors, to think critically, and to increase their skills and confidence so they are able to make positive, high impact changes in their lives.

Enrollment Rates

Enrollment rates of racial/ethnic minority and low-income high school graduates continue to lag behind those of middle- and higher-income students. Among students who plan to attend a four-year college, racial/ethnic minority students are much more likely to end up attending a two-year college or not attending college at all.
