The Arts

Scholars will have an opportunity to experience contemporary drawing and painting techniques, photography, music, dance and the theatre-- hands-on in partnership with an Arts Education provider in Chicago. This takes place during the academic year.

Enrollment Rates

Enrollment rates of racial/ethnic minority and low-income high school graduates continue to lag behind those of middle- and higher-income students. Among students who plan to attend a four-year college, racial/ethnic minority students are much more likely to end up attending a two-year college or not attending college at all.
